Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts, Honours, in Economics and Psychology as well as his Masters of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University. He completed two major theses that involved decision theory, experimental games, social dilemmas, and individual differences. He has a certificate as an educational facilitator and has led numerous academic and training workshops. His ability to create and administer challenging, but fun activities as well as add humour to the experience are what makes his facilitating style effective and non-threatening.

Matthew is active in the open source software community and is well-versed with web design and programming. He is currently interested in learning additonal languages such as Perl and Java, but is not a software fashion victim. He is an old hand at statistics having used statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS and R and continually strives to hone his skills further and broaden his knowledge.

Lastly, Matthew has a persistent interest with all things related to human behaviour, science, and technology, but these fall to the wayside when a bunny rabbit hops by.

Courtney Ward

Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts, High Honours, in Communications with a Minor in Business from Carleton University. Her interest in Communication theory is greatly based on the Canadian Communication Industry in comparison to that of the U.S. The Business aspect of her degree educated her in a variety of areas including finance, international management, information systems, change management, marketing and human resources. While Courtney enjoys each area of business her focus is on human resource management due to her excellent interpersonal skills. Courtney also has experience in a facilitator role. In her previous job she acted as a trainer and peer coach to both new and existing employees, teaching job skills and facilitating workshops geared at implementing new company wide programs. She has experience in human resource management, working with the clients, and she adds an artistic and creative dimension to the firm.

Tom Davis

Tom has extensive experience of financial services marketing and product development with Bank of Bermuda Private Client Services, Coutts and NatWest Bank Small Business Services. He has lectured in marketing at London Metropolitan University on both their MA and CIM programmes.

Tom is passionate about making a positive difference at all levels and combines his marketing talent and project management/process expertise to bring about sustainable change in organizations. His experience also stretches to non profit organizations such as Sustain (the Alliance for Better Food and Farming; also the Centre for Innovation in Voluntary Action) and the Children’s Development Bank in Delhi.

Tom has an MA in English from the University of London and an MA in Marketing from the University of Greenwich, a FPC (Financial Planning Certificate) and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and the Association for Project Management (APM).
